DAY 8: Complete and perfect in Him
When God audits us, He sees us complete and perfect because of our union with Christ....
When voices of condemnation try to accuse you, know that the blood of Jesus silences them.
Romans 8:1 (ASV) says: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus”.
The Greek meaning for the words “no condemnation” is “not even one damnatory sentence” – This means that in Christ, you can’t have a damnatory sentence come against you. Not one accusing voice of condemnation is allowed against you. The blood of Jesus mandated that you could never stand accused.
When voices of condemnation try to accuse you, know that the blood of Jesus silences them. In the court of heaven, you stand flawless, holy and blameless. What if your heart condemns you? Even when your heart condemns you, God's voice never condemns you. 1 John 3:20 says: “Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and he knows everything there is to know about us”.
Obviously, it is to your benefit to live in such a way that your heart does not condemn you. It makes you to be confident when you stand before God (see 1 John 3:21) but even when your heart condemns you, you need to know this truth: God knows everything there is to know about you and He never condemns you.
So, what does God know about you that you possibly don’t know? Everything! He knows that you are united with His Son, Jesus Christ. He knows that you are one spirit with the Lord Jesus. He knows that your spirit is entwined with that of the Lord Jesus and that you are inseparable from Him!
