Decision will always Produce Results

By admin | July 13, 2025

Decisions are more like planting a seed in the ground. The seed dies but brings up new fruits. Whenever we make decisions, we are saying no to something and yes to another. Every decision will always produce result(s) - whether for good or bad. Good decisions are like good seeds, they always produce positive results. When we make decisions that stretch us out of our comfort zone, it is a form of dying to self (like planting the seed in the earth), we are actually saying to the universe we want more so we can grow. Nobody ever grows staying in their comfort zone.

You have heard about the concept of “I die daily”, this concept should be viewed from the point of view of “daily growth pains”. I can not fulfil my potential holding onto my old life, my old thoughts pattern etc, I must let these go to attract new patterns of thoughts. Such a change at the beginning is fraught with anxiety or concerns e.g what if I fail, what if people laugh at me etc but I want you to know unless you make that decision and take risks, you can not grow to be the person you were created to be.

God, as the Creator of the universe, is committed to your growth. His words say: “forget the former things (old life)”, “your path shines brighter and brighter”, “my plans for you are for peace and expected end” etc so you see because He desires growth for you, He is always engineering circumstances to make you grow if you let him.

You are greater and better than you know. Did you know that when God made Adam, Adam was not exposed to inadequacies and lack? His first experiences in the garden were that of surplus, beauty, and grace. This is the natural habitat we were created to live in. Though we may have learnt to identify ourselves with abnormalities, our destiny is “Perfection”.

When I say surplus, beauty and grace, I meant the fullness of God. At creation, you were crowned with glory and honour (Psalm 8:5). At the resurrection, you were made to sit with Christ in the heavenlies. You are both a king and a priest (Rev 1:6). Step out into this day with a royal priestly mindset.
