If I were to make an audacious statement that God has not beheld iniquity in you as a believer, would you believe? Let me explain. If in numbers 23:21, the bible declares that God has not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither has he seen rebellion in Israel (under the old covenant), then under the better covenant of the New Testament, you can be assured that God has found no iniquity in you. Really? Yes!

Rom 4:7-8 was a prophetic utterance by King David, speaking of our time (The New Creation time): “Here’s what David says: What happy fulfillment is ahead for those whose rebellion has been forgiven and whose sins are covered by blood. What happy progress comes to them when they hear the Lord speak over them, “I will never hold your sins against you!””
â€â€
Did you read that? The Lord speaks over you the words “I will never hold your sins against you”. The word “never” is from the Greek word “ou me” and it means “never, certainly not, not at all, by no means”. It means God is saying to you, “I will certainly not, by no means, hold your sins against you”.

What word is used to describe someone whose sins have been wiped off? Blessed. The bible declared that you are blessed because God does not impute sin to you. Why? Because He sees in you the righteousness of Jesus (2 Cor 5:21). Since Jesus is your righteousness (1 Cor 1:30), it means you have been clothed with Christ (Gal 3:27) and God sees you now the way He sees Jesus - righteous, holy and blameless.
