Every human has a desire. Something they want to have, hold, see or maybe be. This is something that is yet to happen but we look forward and wish it does soon. But we don't just wish, we pray for our desires to get manifested and while praying, we trust God to give us the best. It is very important to know that desiring a good future is in line with God's plan for us. In Jeremiah 29:11 the Bible says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."[NIV]. Thus, God has gone ahead of us to prepare a great and bright future for us.

The question is how do we bring to reality this desired future? Firstly, remember that God wants you to prosper. Jesus Christ also says in John 10:10 that he has come so that we can have life, enjoy life in abundance. To enjoy life means everything in this life that you can enjoy is available for you to enjoy. So manifesting our desires/future depicts a future overloaded with abundant life and prosperity.

You know God is our father and we as His children ought to act like Him? Recall at creation when there was nothing but darkness and void? God had a desire to create and so he had to manifest it. So, He spoke and called light to be. That exactly is an act to emulate. We should speak about what we want. Honestly, we have no business talking about our fears or situations that we are in. This is because words have imaginative power.

Our ears pick up those words and it goes straight to our hearts to create images. The picture we constantly hold on to in our hearts will one way or the other manifest in our lives.
Imagination is very beautiful and it's excellent to have a picture of what we want in our hearts. But, it is the words that we speak out of our mouths that fast track or delay the manifestation of that desire.
