Sons and Daughters

<p>People have different reasons for adoption. Some may choose to adopt because they want more children. Others adopt because they have trouble having children of their own. Still, there are some that simply adopt for the sake of taking responsibility for a child they have grown to love. The latter would be the closest to our case with God. I say closest because it doesn't fully capture what birthed our adoption process with God. God did not grow to love us. He has always loved us, He will always love us and will never stop loving us. As such, He adopted us out of that love. Loving us is God's nature and He cannot go against Himself.</p>

<p>God loved the world so much that He chose to adopt as many children that were willing to accept Him as their Father. The legal contract signed was the death of his only begotten son, Jesus. So for all of us who accepted this contract, we became sons and daughters of God.</p>

<p>This family we now belong in has no discrimination nor favoritism and God, our Father loves all of us equally. He loves us the same way He loves Jesus and sees us the same way He sees Jesus. We don't have to feel like slaves or second-class citizens. This adoption gives us all son and daughter rights.</p>
