Our Acceptance

<p>There are 3 things from the story of the prodigal son that confirmed our acceptance before God, our compassionate Father as detailed in Luke 15:22:</p>

<p>1) We have been given the robe of righteousness. This robe is none other than the Lord Jesus Himself (1 Cor 1:30)</p>

<p>2) We have been given the ring of sonship which symbolises our being sealed before God. This ring is none other than the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13)</p>

<p>3) We have been given sandals for our feet. This sandal gives us assured footing before the Father and reminds us that we are no longer slaves. Eph 6:15 reminds us that these sandals that strap our feel are the Gospel of Peace.</p>

<p>The Gospel of Peace reminds us that we have peace with God because of what Jesus has done for us. Rom 5:1 TPT says: Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us.</p>

<p>AFFIRM this truth: Jesus is my righteousness! The Holy Spirit has sealed me in Christ! Jesus is my peace! I have been accepted in the Beloved</p>
