The Fatherhood of God

<p>When you approach your walk with God from this premise - that his instructions to you are not onerous; that He loves you too much to lead you astray; that His instructions to you are paths that lead to life, you will find following them a bliss. Again, it is all about perception.</p>

<p>To know Him as Father is the bedrock of a sustainable relationship. When Jesus walked the earth, He always referred to God as Father. Do you know that the Holy Spirit in you calls God "Abba Father"? Abba Father means "dearest Daddy". Do you know Him as "dearest Daddy"? Do you relate to Him as such? This intimacy is what you are called to. The works we do for God are not as important as the time we spend with Him. It is a relationship.</p>

<p>Can you hear His love song to you this morning? Can you feel the rhythm He plays? Can you sense His arms cuddle you? Can you hear His voice assuring you? The voice that stills the storm softly whispers your name. At this moment, He is calming your fears for today and the uncertainty of tomorrow. He is our Daddy - Me and You. Will you give your Daddy a chance to show you how much He cared?</p>
