The Power of Words

<p id="viewer-fprfk">No one has ever seen “words”. You can't touch it tangibly yet it has the most power to shape destiny. Nothing in the entire universe has a most profound effect on lives than words. It may be the words of a parent, a spouse, a friend etc. Words build up. Words can also destroy. Some people carry wounds all their lives based on the words of yesteryear. Some people’s lives have been truncated or decimated based on the words spoken over them by those close to them or by those who are authority figure over their lives. We are all shaped or affected by words whether we admit this or not.</p>

<p>Our words determine our world</p>

<p id="viewer-64sj2">Words come in different forms and through different channels – when you read, when you hear, when you smell, when you touch an object etc. Words come to you in form of thoughts. It brings memories of times past which when interpreted comes in form of words. Our sensory organs basically are tools through which words come to us in the form of thoughts. No one has ever done anything they have not thought about – no matter how infinitesimal the passage of time might be between thoughts and actions.</p>

<p id="viewer-8ko0v">These words that come in the form of thoughts creates in us emotions, these emotions in us cause us to act in a particular way and based on our actions, we create results. Results are thus the physical tangibility of that which happens in the invisible realm. This proves that what we see in the physical is controlled by the invisible or the spiritual.</p>

<p id="viewer-9kua3">A key principle not to forget is this: when words come to you in form of thoughts, they often times creates pictures in your heart. A continuous pondering on the words, embellishes the pictures we see in our hearts. After a while, these thoughts become embellished in our cells and control our lives. You will always do what you have imagined. Learn to choose your words that change your world positively because words are important and they are instrument that God used to create the entire universe. Since we are created in the image and likeness of God, we must learn to use words to create just as He did.</p>
