4 questions that prove God’s everlasting love for you

You already have KING JESUS on your side.

In Col 3:14, we are asked to put on love so we can be perfect. Being perfect is not sinlessness, but a growth towards maturity to be like Jesus (Rom 8:29). God desires you to grow. In fact, which parent will not desire growth for his children?

In order for us to love others, we must understand the love of God. In Rom 8:31-39, the bible expounds on God’s everlasting love through a series of questions:

1) if God is for you, who can be against you? This means God is never against you. He demonstrated this by delivering up His Son for you whilst you were still far away from Him. He did not wait for you to get it together before He did for you what you needed most—He gave you His life! If He is for you, then He can’t be against you. If He is for you, then it does not matter who gangs up against you. You already have KING JESUS on your side.

2) Who can bring a charge against us? Since God already declared us blameless and righteous (Col 1:22), He can’t at the same time be a charge against us.

3) Who can condemn us? Is it Jesus who died to set us free? No, it can’t be Jesus because He died to set us free, and being thus free is the will of God. So, God is not your condemner. On the contrary, Jesus is your intercessor.

4) Who shall separate you from God’s unlimited love? Nothing and no one can ever separate us from the love that God has for you in Christ Jesus.

You are forever loved by God. Case closed.
