Day 17: You are the “perfect one” in Christ Jesus
You are no body’s puppet but you are God’s masterpiece! How do you overcome the manipulation of ...
The primary tool of protection is His love, wrapped around you. The Father is the One doing the work. He will keep you till the end.
Assurance is the Christian’s full conviction that through the work of Christ alone, received by faith, he is in possession of salvation in which he will be eternally kept. This assurance rests only upon the scripture’s promise to him/her who believes.
Jude 1:1 reads: ”From Judah, a loving servant of Jesus, the Anointed One, and brother of Jacob. I’m writing to the chosen ones who are wrapped in the love of Father God—kept and guarded for Jesus, the Messiah.“
The analogy that God gave me here will help someone. He says to me: “Suppose it is your daughter’s birthday, and you go to a shop to buy her a gift. You carefully chose the gift and then wrapped the gift up and kept it in a secured place so that on the day of her birthday celebration, you can then give her the gift”. Why did you wrap the gift? To preserve it from being damaged or stolen. Why is it important to present an undamaged gift to your daughter? Because the delight on your daughter’s face as she unwraps the gift brings you great joy”.
What does this analogy have to do with you? Jude 1:1 says you are the chosen one (the gift) wrapped in the Father’s love (God’s love wraps around you), kept and guarded (protection from damage or vandalisation) for Jesus Christ.
You are the gift secured for Jesus from the Father.
You are precious to God, and He does all He can to present you blameless as a gift without blemish to His son, Jesus Christ.
The primary tool of protection is His love, wrapped around you. The Father is the One doing the work. He will keep you till the end.
Jude 1:28 reads: ”Now, to the one with enough power to prevent you from stumbling into sin and bring you faultless before his glorious presence to stand before him with ecstatic delight,“
Jesus reaffirms this truth in John 10:28-30: “I give to them the gift of eternal life and they will never be lost and no one has the power to snatch them out of my hands. My Father, who has given them to me as his gift, is the mightiest of all, and no one has the power to snatch them from my Father’s care. The Father and I are one.”
You are secured in Christ. Now, go do awesome things in this world for His glory!
