At the cross, you didn’t just receive forgiveness—you lost some things too. Here’s what Scripture says is gone:
1. Your old self – Crucified with Christ (Rom 6:6)
2. All your sin – Removed forever (Ps 103:12)
3. Your inability to please God – Replaced with His Spirit (Rom 8:8)
4. Bondage to the law – You’re now under grace (Rom 7:6)
5. Guilt & condemnation – None left for you in Christ (Rom 8:1)
6. Rejection & fear of punishment – Driven out by perfect love (1 John 4:18)

What Did I Gain After the Cross?

🔥 The moment you trusted in Jesus, you gained more than you could imagine:
1. Peace with God & total forgiveness (2 Cor 5:19, Col 2:13)
2. Christ’s identity as your own – You are accepted and righteous (Eph 1:6)
3. His life in you – You now live by His faith and power (Gal 2:20)
4. A new nature & identity – You’re not a sinner trying to be holy. You are holy! (2 Cor 5:17)
5. New desires – You want what God wants (Gal 5:18)
6. Full rights as a child of God – You belong! (Gal 3:26)
7. Confidence & authority – You’re His ambassador (1 Pet 2:9)
