”Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] [Josh. 1:5.]“
â€â€Hebrews‬ â€13‬:â€5‬ â€AMPC‬‬

In the text above, do you know how many times the words “I will not” were mentioned? 4 times. Since the number 4 is the number of completeness, it means that the Lord is trying to assure your heart about the absoluteness of His commitment to never ever leave you or forsake you.

Why should you trust God’s promises to you? Because God is faithful and always keeps his promises. He also upholds all things in the universe by His word of power.

Since God will never tell a lie, it stands to reason that believing what He says is the wisest thing to do. So, what else has God said to you? That nothing shall separate you from His love for you - Romans 8:38–39. That is an incontrovertible truth worthy of belief.

If and when you believe this truth, then you should be able to say, “The Lord is my Helper [in times of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?"
â€â€Hebrews‬ â€13‬:â€6‬ â€AMP‬‬
