The Lord has done great things for us

By admin | July 13, 2025

Psalm 126:3 KJV reads, “The LORD hath done great things for us; Whereof we are glad.”

The reason we are glad and overjoyed is that the Lord has done great things for us. Now, suppose that you look at your life right now and there are no reasons to be joyful and glad. You will think you are a fraud if you make that affirmation, but here is an exercise I would like you to do to shift your energy and paradigm.

Close your eyes and imagine for a moment that those things you desire have indeed come to pass. Step onto the theatre of your mind and feel the joy you would feel if they were already true for you. Relish it. Did you notice a shift in your physiology? Now, would it be easier to mutter, “The LORD hath done great things for us; Whereof we are glad?”

If you are able to mutter this statement without feeling funny, then what changed? It is because you built a new picture in your mind of the possibility. Your mind was able to be “tricked” into believing it.

The greatest level of faith is to thank God in advance for what we believe Him to be, and this is not possible when we expect the worst to happen or have lost hope.

So please join me and say, “The LORD hath done great things for me; Whereof I am glad.”—and as you say this, imagine the best future ahead for you.

This year shall end in praise for us all, in Jesus' name.
