Recently I did a European road trip across 7 countries and I had the pleasure of being awed by the majestic alps across Switzerland, Austria, and Italy. As I drove through the roads on the mountains and at hundreds of feet above the ground, I was awed by the majesty and grandeur of the alps.

I also had the unique feeling of security because of the imposing, impregnable mountain structure around me. This feeling of security brings to mind Psalm 125:2 which reads:

“Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord’s wraparound presence surrounds his people, protecting them now and forever.”
â€â€Psalms‬ â€125‬:â€2‬ â€TPT‬‬

The mountains are a type of the Lord’s wraparound presence in our lives. God is the source of our security. In whatever region of the world you are, know that God’s presence is more secured than the mountains, and therefore remain unperturbed by happenings around you. Psalm 125:1 says:
“Those who trust in the Lord are as unshakable, as unmovable as mighty Mount Zion!"
