Day 37: Forever Forgiven

Col 2:13 says “We have been resurrected out of the “realm of death” - never to return because we are forever alive and forgiven of all of our sins”. This is such a profound statement. What does it even mean? It means I am hooked with the living, not the dead. So hence I desist from using the vocabulary of death in my conversations and I don’t share messages of death and fear. Since I am alive, I don’t reconnaissance around the graveyard nor do I prefer to wear grave-clothes. I am alive. I am joined with the living.

Now, did you notice that it says “your are forever alive and forgiven of all of your sins?” What a joy! This means the issue of your sin has been dealt with FOREVER. You are free from carrying that heinous burden. You should not EVER have a consciousness of sin because God no longer sees your sins.

How can I be bold to say this? It is not me. It is God who said it. I am only agreeing with Him. Heb 10:17 reads ““And their sins and their lawless acts I will remember no more [no longer holding their sins against them].” See that? Now I bring your attention to the word “all” in that text. What does it mean? It means “ALL”, “TOTALITY”, “NOTHING REMAINING”, “EVERYTHING” etc. if you apply the meaning of that word to the text, it is a no-brainier to know that all your sins are forgiven and forgotten. It is really that simple!
