Day 17: You are the “perfect one” in Christ Jesus

We go into error when we seek validation from other sources apart from God. If your self worth is based on the accolades of men, or of your spouse, or of your friends, or of your achievements etc, then soon you will realise that this is a slippery slope. Why? Humans change their standards regularly! Trying to live up to anyone’s views of you is like chasing shadows - unreliable!

Whose views matter most? God alone! And what has He already said about you? That you are the perfect one to Him in Christ! That you are enough - no - more than enough! What should be the message of the church? To remind believers constantly not to lose sight of this identity in Christ and what God has already spoken over them!

You are no body’s puppet but you are God’s masterpiece! How do you overcome the manipulation of puppeteers? By embracing the revelation of who God has declared you to be! My reminding yourself and acting like someone’s who is already perfect in God’s eyes - and that is more than enough!
