God has made peace with the whole world through the blood of Jesus. The word “peace” in this text is from the root of the Greek word “eirene” which means “PROSPERITY”. Eirene also means harmony, concord, exemption from the rage and havoc of war, security, safety, prosperity, felicity, assurance of salvation, fearing nothing from God, contentment etc.

This beautiful word “eirene” has the same meaning as “Shalom” and a believer should NEVER have a dread of God. If you allow “eirene” to rule your heart, then you have no reason to be afraid of God or think He will orchestrate evil into your life. It is religion that paints this sordid picture of God.

Jesus Himself says to you, “My peace I give to you”. Beloved, you have the peace which Jesus gives. You did not work for it. You can’t work for it. His peace is a gift - an irrevocable gift to you.

Prosperity is a gift from God to you. Don’t allow anyone to deceive you that God is angry with you!
