God calls you who you could be

<p>Do you know that the opposite of courage is "discourage"? When God instructed Joshua to be courageous in Joshua 1 in the cusp of him leading Israel to victory, God chose to paint a picture that focuses on strength instead of weakness. </p><br><p>God never dwells on your weaknesses and failures or even the limited view you have of yourself but He encourages you by calling you or addressing you based on the future He sees.</p><br><p>God never sees the seed of an acorn but sees the oak tree instead. He called Peter a rock (Matthew 16:18) even though He knew he will deny him 3 times. He called Gideon mighty man of valour even though Gideon sees himself as a weakling (Judges 6:12). He called Judas "friend" seconds before Judas betrayed Him (Matthew 26:50)</p><br><p>You see, the way God sees you is different from the way you see yourself or the way you have allowed yourself to be misled to believe. </p><blockquote><strong>You see, the way God sees you is different from the way you see yourself or the way you have allowed yourself to be misled to believe. </strong></blockquote><br><p>If you don't see yourself the way He sees you, you will not be able to accomplish the much He has for you. </p><br><p>I encourage you to let go of the stereotype and embrace your uniqueness. You are an original, not a mass-produced barbie doll.</p>
